Our beloved mother, Suzanne Messing Sznajderman, passed away on January 18, 2023 at her home in Amherst, Massachusetts. We are keeping this blog alive so that visitors can continue to enjoy her writing. Our mother also remains alive in our hearts.

My late husband and l spent several hours chatting with Suzanne in July of 2018. WE called her at the last minute before returning to New Jersey after attending a weekend of concerts and workshops at the Jewish Library.
Suzanne looked well and was charming showing us her lovely apartment furnished with things from her Hackensack house and Darius’s art. WE were invited to dinner the next time were were in Amherst, but “please call in advance.”Darius was a friend of fellow artist Rose Hertzberg and so we knew your parents for many years.
Suzanne will be missed.
